The slight clicking somemes heard during cornering

can also aid in trouble shoong. If your vehicle is turning and no

clicking sound is heard at all, even in a ght turn, an axle sha

may be broken and further checks should be made (see the in-

stallaon manual for details). Briey, block the vehicle, put it in

gear (or in park) and release the emergency brake, jack up both

res, rotate and hold one and spin the other one in the opposite

direcon. Repeat for both res in both direcons.

Servicing

The LOCK-RIGHT does not require service other than

that normally done on the dierenal as recommended by the

vehicle manufacturer. Use the recommended lubricant and re-

place it at the proper intervals (also see the secon in this manu-

al about temperature and moisture on page 14).

Your new LOCK-RIGHT is manufactured from careful-

ly selected steel, machined on close-tolerance computer-con-

trolled machinery and heat-treated for maximum durability. The

LOCK-RIGHT is the result of detailed engineering, careful manu-

facture, and most importantly, hundreds of thousands of miles

of in-vehicle operaon. If any problems occur, we will, of course,

do our best to resolve them. However, because we are unable

to control either the installaon or the use of these parts, our

guarantee can only related to their design and manufacture, and

is as follows:
